Jackie (Maluska) Kuehl, Owner
Jackie has over 15 years experience in marketing and business development with a proven track record of delivering results. She created the Kuehl Marketing Group with a passion for helping businesses achieve their marketing objectives.
Jackie has an M.B.A. in Marketing and is an adjunct Professor of Marketing at DePaul University. She is also a Certified Search Engine Marketing Expert (Paid Search) . She has extensive experience in driving revenue-generating programs from strategic development through execution. Prior to beginning her marketing consulting business, Jackie assisted a mid-size marketing agency to establish their mmarketing and business development functions. While there, she helped develop the strategic direction for the agency. She also generated new business revenue, initiated and executed the marketing and business development plans, created a pipeline for additional client revenue, facilitated new branding strategies, established operational processes which closed the gap on meeting client project deadlines, and set the agency for future growth.
Prior to consulting, Jackie worked for The NPD Group as a Corporate Director of Marketing. There she established marketing in the Chicago and Houston offices. She initiated and executed marketing strategies and plans that consistently outperformed company and industry benchmarks. She established corporate best practices for e-mail and direct mail marketing programs and initiated the development of marketing segmentation processes. These processes lead to more targeted and efficient promotions with double-digit client revenue growth. Additionally, Jackie worked with corporate product development and client services to create new products, client retention programs and client training programs. A highlight of Jackie’s time with The NPD Group was the development of 4 of the top-10 revenue generating marketing programs for the company.
Jackie started at The NPD Group as the Sales and Marketing manager where she initiated plans for new channels of business, developed and implemented a team approach to account management for the organization, formalized a new pricing structure and managed the rollout process, and grew her territory revenue base by 40% in the first year.
Prior to NPD, Jackie worked at Frito-Lay, Inc as a Business Development Manager andCategory Manager where she oversaw all sales, marketing,category management, financial and operational activities for a National Account Customer. She finished in the top-10 nationally for account growth, led a team of 25 to achieve double-digit revenue increases, and developed and executed a promotional strategy to increase Frito-Lay share by 8%. Jackie also has National Account management experience working for a Midwest food broker and for a national foodservice distributor where she achieved various awards for revenue growth, building customer relationships and unique new business strategies.
Jackie graduated from DePaul University, with honors, with a B.S. degree and an M.B.A. in Marketing Management. She lives in Lemont, IL with her family, is an avid runner, a Business Adviser with the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center, and a member of the Business Marketing Association.
